Big Brother voiceover Marcus Bentley looks set to continue narrating the eventful days of the Big Brother house for at least one more series. According to the Daily Star, the Geordie voice artist is "eagerly waiting" to get back to work on the show since it was axed by Channel 4 last year.
The newspaper claims that Marcus said that he "can’t wait" to be back covering the show when it returns to Channel 5 later this year.
Last month Marcus explained: “Nothing would put me off doing the show. All you need are great housemates and amazing tasks."
The 43-year-old, who originally got the job because the producers liked the way he pronounced 'Chickens', added: “The thought of somebody else doing it would break my heart. I’m such a fan of the show. I’d do it hell or high water.”
While the competition for who'll be narrating the new Big Brother on Channel 5 is seemly over, the questions surrounding who'll be presenting the programme is still a topic as ever. Both Emma Willis and Brian Dowling are thought to be front runners, but surprising names - including Dancing On Ice's Laura Hamilton - have also been linked to the role.
Yesterday Big Brother 2011 online auditions opened, although the next series won't start until September. Celebrity Big Brother 2011 will instead air from August in a twist to the format.
