Geordie Shore has been given a 'Big Brother' twist for this year's series.
Season 14 of Geordie Shore kicked off on MTV last night with two rival groups.
They have been joined by eight newbies including Elettra Lambourghin, a 22-year-old stunner heiress to the sports car brand and Abbie Holborn, a 19-year-old party girl after a man with 'the three Ts' - tan, teeth and tattoos.
The newbies will be battling to keep their place on the show in what the "originals" say is a Big Brother style twist.
Sophie explained: "It's like the Geordie Shore Big Brother.
"The originals are Big Brother, telling the newbies what to do. It was nice to be back for a full series. I'm the only girl left from the original cast, so I've got to fly the flag."
Recent CBB housemate Chloe said: "This series is very different to what we normally do, because all the newbies are competing for a place, which brings drama because only one person stays at the end. It's going to be very entertaining."
And Marnie - who has also appeared on Big Brother - added to star magazine: "I liked having the newbies coming in. It was nice having people create a different atmosphere."
Geordie Shore airs Tuesday nights on MTV at 10PM with the second episode tonight.
