Celebrity Big Brother 2017 this summer could be an all stars special with celebrity couples.
The upcoming run could follow - or even be merged - with the main summer Big Brother series as part of a 'pairs' twist.
As was previously confirmed, this year the 'civilian' version of Big Brother was looking for pairs of housemates for the new show.
They could be relatives, couples or just friends, although precisely what Big Brother has planned for them isn't quite clear.
Now rumour has it that the summer Celebrity series could follow suit.
The Sun newspaper claims that show bosses are looking at potential famous duos to enter the house.
"It’s seriously early for anything to be set in stone but bosses are working hard on the idea and talking to the couples about big money deals to firmly secure them for the series in the summer," a source said.
Names on the line up could include former CBB winners and now couple Stephen Bear and Charlotte Crosby.
“They know it could make or break their relationship, but with both of them born for reality TV it’ll be brilliant viewing whatever happens," an insider said.
The tabloid also suggests that The Cheeky Girls - who were originally tipped for the non-Celeb series - could also end up in the CBB house instead.
Over the years a number of duos have entered the house with twins Jedward and husband and wife couple Speidi taking part in this year's winter run only last month.
As yet, Channel 5 have confirmed no details about summer's CBB which isn't expected to begin until July at the earliest.
