Calum was evicted from the show last Tuesday night ahead of the final and went on to cancel a number of TV gigs following his exit after leaving the house.
Calum failed to turn up for his appearance on CBB spin-off show Bit On The Side the day after, forcing an audience member to step in.
And the next day, Calum also didn't manage to make it onto ITV's Lorraine as arranged.
According to host Rylan Clark-Neal on Bit on The Side, no one had any idea where Calum was when he failed to appear for the show, forcing a member of the audience to take his place on the panel.
At the start of the show, Rylan told cameras: "Finally we were supposed to have Calum Best on, but we genuinely don't know where he is. This ain't even a gag. This really ain't."
However he was back on TV today (Monday), finally getting to speak on ITV's Lorraine.
“I’m sorry I missed you and I’m glad to be back,” Calum said. “I always love coming to see you.”
He revealed he had to cancel last week's TV gigs due to an ear infection which he was suffering in the house.
“They can’t air stuff like that but for about two weeks in there I had an ear infection, I had it about 11 days," Calum explained. "When I came out I went to the hospital and I’m on the mend now. I wasn’t myself, I slept a lot - which I don’t think they aired - and everyone called me boring but oh well, what can you do?!”
Calum went on to praise CBB winner Coleen Nolan, saying: “Coleen and I were so close in there... There’s something very warm and nurturing about Coleen. She’s somebody I can confide in. She’s a very warm, open, comfortable person so I’m very happy for her.”
