Calum was evicted from the show on Tuesday night after polling the fewest votes in the final vote. Lines had frozen and Calum was the least popular of the then seven finalists at that point.
However he cancelled a number of TV gigs following his eviction on short notice after leaving the house.
Calum failed to turn up for his appearance on CBB spin-off show Bit On The Side last night, forcing an audience member to step in.
And this morning Calum was due to appear on ITV's Lorraine to talk about his time in the house but she revealed: “Calum’s called and he’s not well, well someone else called for him. We wish him all the best!”
According to host Rylan Clark-Neal last night, no one had any idea where Calum was when he failed to appear for the show.
Instead, a member of the audience took his place on the panel.
At the start of the show, Rylan told cameras: "Finally we were supposed to have Calum Best on, but we genuinely don't know where he is. This ain't even a gag. This really ain't.
"So, I had a little thought and thought who could I put in Calum Best's place tonight? It's got to be someone quite close to him. So, I love her and I think she deserves this so please be upstanding for our very own Barbara."
Calum's now tweeted to assure fans he is okay, vowing to "make it up" as he revealed plans to appear again on Lorraine on Monday morning.
"Sincerest apologies to @bbuk #bbbots and @ITVLorraine been crazy I'll since leaving the house . Will make it up," he tweeted.
But will he make the CBB final on Friday night?
