Former Big Brother presenter Davina McCall said she'll still be watching the reality telly show when it moves to Channel 5 later this year, but also admitted to looking forward to having a summer holiday! The 43-year-old hosted the series since the first episode way back in 2000!
Saying she'll still be tuning in this August, Davina said: "I've honestly never missed an episode of Big Brother. I'd watch every single night and it was quite brilliant right up to the moment it died."
The telly host cheekily added: "Woo hoo! I can have a summer holiday!
"But I think that the format still has legs. I just feel my time on it has come to an end because I said my goodbyes and emotionally let go of it that final night. It was so painful, but it's gone. It felt like such a clean break for me."
The presenter, who has moved on to front primetime shows for both ITV1, Sky 1 and Channel 4 admitted to being scared when the show ended on Channel 4 last year McCall explained: "I spent the year that I knew Big Brother was finishing worrying about what I would do next. Completely!
"But then I did Who Do You Think You Are? for the BBC and I suddenly got so many more offers because I think people saw me for something other than Big Brother. Got To Dance came along and then The Biggest Loser."
Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 5 this August.
