Celebrity Big Brother 2017: Katie Hopkins won't be back - because of Donald Trump

Katie Hopkins has ruled herself out of the Celebrity Big Brother all star line up.

Last year's housemate won't be returning to the house next month, and it's all because of Donald Trump.

"Go into no star CBB ...when a 5 star President is about to take control of the White House? I don't think so my little furry friends," Katie tweeted this week.

Perez Hilton, who appeared on the same series as Katie where they repeatedly clashed, was quick to get a dig in.

"She probably wasn't asked. x" he tweeted in response to her message.

Channel 5 previously announced a brand new twist to the next Celebrity Big Brother with a mix of former Celebrity Big Brother housemates as well as new faces on the line up.

Celebrity Big Brother's so-called 'All Stars v New Stars' will launch on January 3 on Channel 5.

"This time we’ve invited back some of your favourite CBB housemates: the All Stars who will be joined by a bunch of brand new celebrity housemates: the New Stars," the channel explained. "Together they’ll be living in the Big Brother house which has been given a colourful pop art makeover."

While Katie is ruled out, past 'all star' housemates who could be returning include Austin Armacost, Coleen Nolan, Jedward, Calum Best, Nicola McLean, American couple Speidi - Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag - and Jasmine Waltz.

However a number of other celebs have denied they'll be a part of the show.

Most recent winner Stephen Bear declared last week: "I can officially say I'm not doing CBB in Jan . I wasn't cool enough 😂"

And X Factor's Honey G said similar: “Just to clarify to my fans, this is not true. I haven’t agreed to be on Big Brother.”

Blue singer Lee Ryan also denied he would be back, telling new! magazine: "I promise you on my life I wouldn't [go back] I couldn't think of anything worse. I probably wouldn't do anything like that ever again."

Others who have denied taking part are former CBB winner Charlotte Crosby, Angelique 'Frenchy' Morgan and Shameless actor Jody Latham.

Perez also wont be a part of the show, declaring: "The price was not right, okay! It was way off. I wanted to get paid double and I think I’m worth it."

James Jordan has too denied he'd be taking part, although wife Ola Jordan said the same about the jungle, so we wouldn't rule him out completely just yet...

The Celebrity Big Brother 2017 start date is now less than 10 days away at 9PM, Channel 5 on Tuesday, January 3.
