Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag's return to Celebrity Big Brother may have been accidentally confirmed.

It's after the new look Celebrity Big Brother 2017 house was revealed in all its glory today.

This year's Celebrity Big Brother celebrities will descend down the famous staircase which leads out to bright and colourful new look rooms.

In the pictures, released by Channel 5, fans were quick to notice and odd inconsistency with 16 chairs but only 15 housemate profiles to be filled.

The obvious conclusion is that one housemate will be formed of two people, with many viewers sure it confirms Spencer and Heidi will be back.

Channel 5 has already confirmed that the new series of the show will - as we all expected - see a mix of former Celebrity Big Brother housemates as well as new faces.

The couple - nicknamed Speidi - appeared on the show in 2013 where they finished as runners up to Rylan Clark.

"Spencer and Heidi are very competitive and they got so close to winning last time that they’re hell bent on coming out on top this time around," a source told the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper previously. "They’ve never quite lived down being beaten by Rylan."

The insider claimed: "They’re sure they’ve devised the secret strategy that will see them win it.

"They will be even sneakier and more manipulative than last time, and won’t hesitate to throw anyone under the bus."

However the couple aren't the only rumoured duo who could be entering together.

X Factor's Jedward have also been tentatively linked to the line up, but this rumour seems less likely than Speidi.

Meanwhile, new stars rumoured include footballer Jamie O'Hara, X Factor singer Sam Callahan, Love Island's Olivia Buckland, recent Apprentice candidate Jessica Cunningham, reality TV regular Bianca Gascoigne and snooker ace Ronnie O'Sullivan.

But Channel 5 aren't confirming any names before launch.

Host Emma Willis will introduce us to the official new Celebrity Big Brother line up, made up of the returning housemates and new faces, on Tuesday January 3 at 9PM.
