Celebrity Big Brother 2017 line up loses another so-called 'celebrity'

The Celebrity Big Brother 2017 line up has dropped another potential housemate, it's been claimed.

Model Suzy Cortez, who really seems to be below even the Z-list of celebrities, has supposedly had to quit the show.

Suzy is best known (apparently...) for winning a Brazilian pageant show last year, which is enough to get you a spot on Celebrity Big Brother here in the UK, it appears.

The 26-year-old told The Sun newspaper this weekend: "I was offered the place back in November but I’ve had to pull out because I can’t get out of some other work contracts, which I had hoped to be able to break.

“I hope they will let me do next year instead.”

Suzy was originally linked to the show earlier this month, although at that time she claimed to have only been invited to a meeting in December, contradicting today's story that she was offered a place on the line up a month before.

“I was invited on Channel 5 to join Celebrity Big Brother as Muse inspiring world football," Suzy told The Sun newspaper. “I still don’t know if I’m going to enter the reality show."

Despite the strict restrictions on celebs revealing talks, she also claimed: “I was asked if I would like to enter the show and whether I would be in London in December to set up a meeting.”

Suzy is reportedly the second celeb to drop from this year's line up following another star pulling out at the last minute in the week.

According to the Daily Star newspaper, singer Sam Callahan - who appeared on The X Factor live shows in 2013 - has been called up as a replacement.

A source told the newspaper: "Sam is in the best shape he's ever been in, he would definitely bring some eye candy to the show."

Alongside the mystery exits, a number of stars have gone on the record saying they won't be a part of the new All Stars v New Stars show, including Lee Ryan, Stephen Bear and Perez Hilton.

Celebrity Big Brother launches at 9PM, January 3 on Channel 5.
