Stephen Bear 'rejected' from Celebrity Big Brother 2017's All Stars line up

Celebrity Big Brother 2016

Stephen Bear is NOT doing Celebrity Big Brother 2017 All Stars next year.

And it's fair to say some people are VERY happy about it.

Channel 5 previously announced a brand new twist to the next Celebrity Big Brother with a mix of former Celebrity Big Brother housemates as well as new faces on the line up.

Latest CBB winner Bear was quickly rumoured but he's only now spoken out about the speculation, declaring he WON'T be taking part.

According to Bear's own admission, he just wasn't 'cool enough'.

He tweeted fans: "I can officially say I'm not doing CBB in Jan . I wasn't cool enough 😂"

One Big Brother fan reacted: "YASSSSSSSS!!! Now, we can all watch #CBB No Bear!!!!! Proof 2017 is going to be a better year. #BBUK Thank you, @bbuk 😅😃"

Of course whether or not Bear is telling the truth remains to be seen, this may just be another of his hilarious 'pranks'.

But for now, with Bear seemingly ruled out, more likely celebs entering the house could include 'new star', Shameless actor Jody Latham.

Although perhaps best known for his role as Phillip "Lip" Gallagher in Channel 4's Shameless, the TV star has a long list of credits including appearances in EastEnders, The Fixer, Waterloo Road and Holby City, as well as ITV reality show Hell's Kitchen.

He may be joined by 'All Star' Jasmine Waltz, who previously appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2014 with Lee Ryan.

Alongside Jody, other new stars rumoured include The Apprentice's Jessica Cunningham, TOWIE's Danielle Armstrong, reality TV regular Bianca Gascoigne and snooker ace Ronnie O'Sullivan.

Meanwhile, past 'all star' housemates who are rumoured to be returning include Lauren Harries, Jedward, Calum Best, Angelique 'Frenchy' Morgan, ex Strictly pro James Jordan, Katie Price, Nicola McLean, American couple Speidi - Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag - and Jasmine Lennard.

The Celebrity Big Brother 2017 start date was previously confirmed for 9PM, Channel 5 on Tuesday, January 3.
