When does Celebrity Big Brother 2017 start? Here's all the launch information you need!
The new series of Celebrity Big Brother will feature an all star twist and could well end being the show's longest ever.
Here's all you need to know about launch week!
When does Celebrity Big Brother begin on TV?
The official Celebrity Big Brother 2017 start date has been confirmed with the new series kicking off with its live launch at 9PM, Tuesday, January 3. There host Emma Willis will introduce us to the new Celebrity Big Brother line up, made up of both returning housemates and new faces.
At 11:05PM, Rylan Clark-Neal will be back to host Bit On The Side while at midnight there will be live streaming. The show then continues nightly at 9PM.
The live Friday shows will be split into two parts, airing at 9PM and 10:30PM, with a new series of Lip Sync Battle UK sandwiched inbetween.
What's all this about a live twist?
Schedule information suggests that Friday's first live show after the launch on January 6 will see two new housemates enter, although precise details about what Big Brother has planned are being kept under wraps for now.
How long will Celebrity Big Brother last?
Celebrity Big Brother has been getting progressively longer over the years with last January's run the longest yet at 32 days.
Schedule information provided by Channel 5 suggests that the new series will air for 40 episodes.
Although that total includes instances where there are two live shows on the same night, such as Friday evictions, it still means the new series could be the longest so far.
Of course as we've seen in past years, the series may well get longer or shorter half-way through the run depending on how well (or not) things go inside the house.
