The sporting legend hopes to become one of the new housemates on next January's 'All Stars v New Stars' show.
The 40-year-old, who lives close to the Big Brother house in North London, told the Daily Star newspaper: “I’ve always fancied Big Brother.
“I know that if I’d had enough I could just come out and be back home in 45 minutes.”
So-called Rocket Ronnie has insisted: “I’d nail all the psychology tests. I know all the right answers for them. I’ve seen so many of them, I know exactly what to say.
“I’d love to do it. If the bosses are listening, I’m your guy.”
Whether or not Channel 5 take Ronnie up on his offer remains to be seen.
While Channel 5 have confirmed we'll be getting both familiar and new faces in the CBB house next month, they won't say who.
A spokesperson for the show teased: "As always the identities of the housemates are top secret, but we can confirm that this series promises to be an explosion of fun and loud personalities which are sure to cause fireworks… in fact, everything you love about Celebrity Big Brother!"
Celebrity Big Brother starts in early January on Channel 5.
