Jasmine Lennard is being tipped to make a comeback to Celebrity Big Brother in 2017.

The former Celebrity housemate first appeared on the show in 2012. She then popped up last year too as part of a 'Timebomb' twist.

Now The Sun newspaper reports that Simon Cowell's former flame is set for her third stint inside the house.

Jasmine has been linked to Celebrity Big Brother 2017 which is said to have an 'All Star' twist to it.

However it won't just be former housemates.

The Sun has suggested the name will in fact be 'Gold Stars vs New Stars' with a special series featuring both ex-housemates and new faces.

More names on a supposed 'wish list' include recent CBB winner Stephen Bear, professional troll Katie Hopkins, model and Loose Women star Katie Price, US couple Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, and even names from the Channel 4 era including Pete Burns.

A source previously told the Daily Star of the plan: “It’s a genius idea that has never been done before.

Channel 5 wants to do a show that gives a nod to the past but also has a fresh edge with new people too."

As yet nothing has been confirmed for Big Brother next year - it is only October, after all - which will celebrate its 20th series in the summer.

But Channel 5 boss Ben Frow has announced plans to shake the show up, saying recently: "It's all good so far but we owe it to the viewers to ask 'How can we reposition this for the future? How can we keep surprising the viewer? How can we take something that is a great premise, filming people 24 hours a day, what can we do with it going forward?'

"I'd like to have that brave, big, bold, blue sky discussion with the makers of Big Brother."

Speaking at the Edinburgh International Television Festival in August, Frow added: "After this series is finished, we'll go 'In January it starts again, what could we do that'll make us leaders?'"

And he concluded: "Big Brother has been the number 1 reality show for 17 years, I do not want to be second, I want to keep being a leader in terms of reality."

Celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother will air next year on Channel 5.
