Celebrity Big Brother's Marnie Simpson and Lewis Bloor have hit back at showmance claims.
Now two weeks following the final, the pair have denied that their romance in the house was just for the cameras.
In a new interview with the Daily Star on Sunday newspaper, Marnie revealed that they had turned down various chances to make money off their relationship.
"We have been offered all kinds of magazine and TV interviews, but we are keeping it private for the time being because we don't want to put a strain on our relationship," she said.
Geordie Shore's Marnie added: "There was so much talk of us being a 'showmance', but the funny thing is neither of us are the type of people to court the media for money or fame."
TOWIE's Lewis echoed Marnie's comments and even said the pair may end up getting married, something he was already thinking about while in the house.
Lewis remarked: "Marnie for me is not a job. She is a passion project, and I don't want to get paid for that."
However any wedding may be a long way off.
Speaking last week to OK! magazine, Marnie said she didn't want to rush into anything.
"There's no need to rush things. We're so young. We have all the time in the world," she said.
Marnie went on to rave about Lewis: "I've never felt like this about anybody else before. He's just so caring. He's very positive. I have really enjoyed being around him and he brings out the best in us.... I just care for him more strongly than I have ever cared about anyone."
