The former couple had got ENGAGED On the show but things quickly turned sour on the outside with tabloid reports about Ed's behaviour away from Andy.
Last week it was claimed that Andy and Ed had parted ways just days after the end of the series and only two weeks following their engagement.
Now speaking about it all, Andy has confirmed that he and Ed are no longer together.
In an interview with The Sun newspaper, Andy explained how he sat down with Ed shortly after the final.
"He pleaded with me that it wasn’t true and that it was fake," Andy recalled. “I couldn’t bring myself to look up the stories until the next day and when I saw the pictures I knew it was real."
The former BBC newsreader went on: “I wanted him to tell me and prove to me that it wasn’t true. I said to him ‘Ed, I think it’s real.’ But he kept telling me, ‘No, no, it’s fake, it’s fake.’
“‘Then how have they got pictures of your face,’ I said to him.”
Andy says that eventually Ed admitted he had been unfaithful in the past: "I didn’t ask him details about who or when or why.
"I didn’t want to know who he had been with or with how many guys.
"I didn’t need to know those details. The fact that he had been unfaithful, that he had betrayed me was enough to leave me devastated."
Andy sadly concluded: "I should be looking at venues. We should be celebrating that we are back together after BB but now I’m trying to forget that he has cheated on me and that we’re no longer together."
