Ejected Celebrity Big Brother 2016 housemate Christopher Biggins will still get paid at least part of his fee.
The former favourite to win was reportedly paid a total of £150,000 for joining the line up but was removed last night after one week.
Channel 5 confirmed yesterday evening that Biggins had left the house after a string of comments 'capable of causing offence'.
A statement read: “Big Brother has taken the decision to remove Christopher Biggins from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
"Since entering Big Brother, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public."
They added: "Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offence. Christopher Biggins has left the house.”
Exactly what remarks led to Biggins' removal have yet to be confirmed, but in tonight's show he is seen talking about having to be careful about his comments.
Biggins tells Grant: “I’ve made three mistakes in here so I’ve been chastised.
"So I’ve become very aware and careful…of course the thing is as you relax it gets worse cause you think you’re at home."
It seems that Biggins relaxes a little too much as later, Big Brother gathers the Housemates at the sofas and informs them that Biggins has been removed from the Big Brother House and will not be returning.
More details about Biggins' exit will be in tonight's show on Channel 5 at 10:30PM.
As for his fee, the Daily Mirror claim that Biggins is set to get some sort of payout but it's unlikely to be his original full £150,000 cheque.
A source said: "There is no way Biggins is walking away with nothing."
Those that walk from the show often get a pro rata fee based on their time in the house which could be as much as £30,000 in Biggins' case.
However none of these details have been officially confirmed.
A show spokesperson said: "We don't comment on confidential business affairs."
