A transcript purporting to show the shocking chat that led to Biggins being removed from Celebrity Big Brother has been branded fake.
Social media has been sent into a stir by a long and and detailed line by line account of what led to Biggins' removal.
However the transcript, which was copied off an online forum, is not true.
A spokesperson for Channel 5 confirmed that the write up of talk was in fact fake: "We can confirm that a transcript claiming to relate to Christopher Biggins' removal from the CBB house is 100% fake."
The actual reasons behind Biggins' removal will air on Channel 5 tonight at 10:30PM.
A statement from Channel 5 said last night: “Big Brother has taken the decision to remove Christopher Biggins from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
"Since entering Big Brother, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public."
They added: "Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offence. Christopher Biggins has left the house.”
Following Biggins' departure yesterday evening, his agent Jonathan Shalit defended the "wonderful man" in a statement: "I've been close friends and worked with Biggins for many years and can confirm that he would never intentionally cause offence.
"If something was said in jest which caused offence then I am certain that was not his intention.
"Biggins is a much loved and wonderful man."
Celebrity Big Brother airs nightly on Channel 5.
