The reason why Christopher Biggins was kicked out of Celebrity Big Brother 2016 has supposedly been revealed.
Big Brother shocked everyone yesterday evening when announcing the news that Biggins had left the house, but didn't say precisely why.
A statement from Channel 5 said: “Big Brother has taken the decision to remove Christopher Biggins from the Celebrity Big Brother house.
"Since entering Big Brother, he has made a number of comments capable of causing great offence to housemates and the viewing public."
They added: "Big Brother does not tolerate offensive language capable of causing widespread offence. Christopher Biggins has left the house.”
Exactly what Biggins said that forced show bosses to remove him from the show has not been officially confirmed.
However the Daily Star newspaper claims that Biggins made a hugely insensitive 'Nazi joke' as he spoke to Jewish housemate Katie Waissel, leaving her in tears.
The exact circumstances leading up to Biggins' exit and the reasons why he was kicked out will be shown in tonight's CBB highlights show at 10:30PM.
Following Biggins' departure last night, his agent Jonathan Shalit defended the "wonderful man" in a statement: "I've been close friends and worked with Biggins for many years and can confirm that he would never intentionally cause offence.
"If something was said in jest which caused offence then I am certain that was not his intention.
"Biggins is a much loved and wonderful man."
Celebrity Big Brother airs nightly on Channel 5.
