How much are CBB's cast paid? Celebrity Big Brother 2016 cast fees

The pay of some of this summer's Celebrity Big Brother 2016 housemates has been revealed.

The new CBB 2016 cast was unveiled last night with 15 celebs joining the house for the next month.

As always there's been much speculation and reports over how much they're all getting paid and the figures, at least as reported, seem to be varied.

Christopher Biggins is said to have scooped the biggest pay check with a fee of £150,000, although it's not clear how much if any of this he will he after being ejected.

Samantha Fox is understood to have agreed a undisclosed "six figure sum", potentially making her the second highest paid of this year's housemates.

Perhaps surprisingly, Anthea Turner's ex Grant Bovey is also said to be getting paid quite a bit with a rumoured fee of £100,000, even though he was out first.

The host of reality stars in the house - such as Geordie Shore's Marnie Simpson and Ex On The Beach's Stephen Bear - are believed to be getting a lot less with five-figure sums.

It's been reported that Stephen Bear is the lowest paid of the lot with a £12,000 fee, less than Storage Hunter Colin Newell aka Heavy D who is said to have got £15,000.

While we doubt many would say no to those figures (heck, we'd pay to be a housemate), the numbers are hugely below the reported fees from the latest series in January.

The biggest pay cheque of 2016 was made out to the late David Gest, who landed a reported £600,000 figure, the show's highest ever.

Kim K's pal Jonathan Cheban was said to have been paid £300,000, although after quitting it's not clear if he ever got this.

Eastenders star Danniella Westbrook made £200,000 while Hollyoaks’ Stephanie Davis secured £150,000, the same as this summer's highest paid star.

Kristina Rihanoff, Gemma Collins, and Nancy Dell’Olio meanwhile were all rumoured to be making £100,000 from their reality show stint.

The latest series of CBB continues nightly on Channel 5.
