Hughie Maughan has claimed he, Ryan Ruckledge or Lateysha Grace should have won Big Brother 2016.
Yesterday evening saw Emma Willis announce it was Jason Burrill who won Big Brother 2016, scooping a total prize pot worth £90,000.
He beat strong favourite Hughie in what proved to be a surprising night of results.
Earlier in the evening, Evelyn Ellis had beaten Jayne Connery to be named the top girl of the series while Andy West made an early departure in fourth place, having been the one expected to rival Hughie.
Speaking today after the final, Hughie declared: "If I'm honest, I think that there's not a doubt more deserving winners, but I'm really happy for him and I wish him all the best."
He went on to explain in a media call with press: "He won it fair and square at the end of the day, there's not any kind of bitterness or any grudges I'm going to carry on, but I just think there's others like Alex, Ryan, Jackson, Lateysha.
"I would have considered someone like myself, Ryan or Lateysha. Jason doesn't seem like a Big Brother winner, although I am happy for him."
Hughie then quipped: "His dad must have a £10,000 phone bill."
Meanwhile, as for his romance with Ryan now they're both on the outside, Hughie added: "We haven't sat down and had a conversation saying we're in relationship but you might as well say we are."
