Christopher Biggins is set to enter the Celebrity Big Brother 2016 house, according to reports this weekend.

The actor, best known for his roles in panto, has been a reality TV favourite over the years with appearances on shows including I'm a Celebrity...Me Out of Here, Celebrity Come Dine with Me and Celebrity Masterchef.

The uber Big Brother fan also been a regular on Big Brother spin-off show Bit On The Side and currently voices Channel 5's new panel show It's Not Me, It's You.

According to The Sun newspaper, Biggins is set to to scoop £150,000 for his stint in the house, joining the show in next Thursday's live launch.

Biggins looks to be joining a CBB line up that will be bursting with stars from other reality TV shows.

Other celebrity housemates tipped to enter are, it seems, a token 'star' from the UK's top reality programmes. From Geordie Shore there's Marnie Simpson, from TOWIE we've got Lewis Bloor while Ex On The Beach have sent Stephen Bear.

Meanwhile The X Factor is set to be represented by two former contestants if reports prove true with ex finalist Katie Waissel and bootcamp reject turned Playboy model Chloe Mafia on the cast.

Joining them are said to be Gogglebox's Chris Steed and Stephen Webb together with a pair of US reality favourites: Mob Wives' Renee Graziano and Dog The Bounty Hunter's wife Beth Chapman.

Summer's Celebrity Big Brother 2016 launches Thursday, July 28 at 9PM on Channel 5.
