Big Brother 2016: Jayne Connery saved from eviction but Andy West replaces her!

Big Brother 2016

Jayne Connery has been saved from this week's Big Brother 2016 eviction but Andy West now faces the public vote in their place.

Jason Burrill, Jackson Blyton, Laura Carter and Jayne were all put up for the axe this Friday night during nominations on Monday.

In last night's show, Big Brother announced to the housemates that the week’s nominations would begin shortly and that these would be their final nominations.

Housemates were told that those who survive Friday’s eviction will then face the public vote to win Big Brother 2016, prompting cheers from the housemates.

Throughout the day housemates nominated for the last time in the diary room, each giving the names of the two they wanted out.

Once all was said and done, Jason received 5 nominations, Laura had 4 nominations, Jackson received 3 nominations and Jayne received two nominations. As a result they all faced eviction, or so housemates thought.

In tonight's show, all housemates took part in a task where they were each had to answer questions by Big Brother in order to make it to the 'Winner's Zone' where one of five mystery prizes was up for grabs.

Sam won 'Save and Replace' and was told he had to pick one of the four nominated housemates to SAVE from eviction and then pick another housemate to go up for eviction in their place.

He first had to state who he wanted to save from eviction

Saving Jayne, Sam said: "I feel like I can't save people I've nominated, sorry Jason and Laura, and I feel Jackson is going to be safe."

Sam then chose to nominate Andy for eviction in Jayne's place: "You had the advantage of immunity [in annihilation] week, I feel it's only fair."

Therefore, Andy, Jayne, Jason and Laura now all face the final eviction at the end of the week.

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5 with the next live eviction this Friday evening with Emma Willis.
