Big Brother 2016: Can Jason Burrill beat Hughie Maughan to WIN?

Big Brother 2016

As Big Brother enters its final full week, Jason Burrill's odds continue to decrease but Hughie Maughan remains the favourite to win.

The betting has been sent into upheaval following the most recent Big Brother eviction that saw Ryan Ruckledge get the boot by his fellow housemates.

Jason is fast becoming the one to watch in the race for the BB title as he now lies second in the betting following his price being slashed. The stuntman was as big as 9/1 on Wednesday but a recent burst of support from punters has made him a firm contender to win at 7/2.

Hughie has once again shortened for the Big Brother crown and is now the 11/8 clear favourite to win. Andy is another mover to note having started the week as big as 11/1. The journalist is now third in line to go all the way to win at 5/1.

Alex, who was the early favourite to win, has suffered a fall from grace as he drifts outside of the top four in the betting after his price was eased to 11/2 from 9/2. Jackson is another housemate who punters have started to turn their backs on and has drifted out to 5/1 from 11/4 to win.

Aoife Heffron from bookies BoyleSports commented: “As the countdown for the Big Brother final starts to tick we have seen a lot of movement in the Outright betting that has seen two of the outsiders within the house, Jason and Andy, clamber their way into the top spots in the betting.”

She added “Hughie is at present the red hot favourite after his price was once again cut and he is now 11/8, however all eyes are on Jason who has made the biggest move for the title and is now hot on Hughie’s heels at 7/2.”
