Big Brother 2016: It's ON as Jayne Connery vows to 'play the game'

Big Brother 2016

Jayne Connery has vowed to play the game on Big Brother 2016 in a chat with Jason Burrill.

In case you missed last night's dramatic BBUK episode, Lateysha Grace was evicted by Jason from Big Brother in a prize money annihilation twist, causing outrage and shock both inside and outside the house.

It was an unusual move for Big Brother's UK version as Jason openly confessed he was playing the game, ousting Lateysha who he saw as competition.

But Jason was adamant that the money had nothing to do with his decision, benefiting from £20,000 of the prize fund too.

"I'd have pressed that button if there was a prize or no prize, if there was a rotten egg," he vowed.

Jayne told him: "I'm chuffed for you, I was 30 seconds close to hitting the button, £20k in your bank is going to do good."

She went on to declare: "I'm now going to play the game, I'm now going to do what is expected."

Jason said: "If you've got someone you've really got a problem with but that person is popular and you don't choose them, you're wrong.

"Since what happened yesterday, people have thought to themselves 'What would I do in that position?'"

Jayne confessed: "I'm 99.99% sure I would have gone as I was the easiest decision. I'm totally shocked, Jason. I was smiling."

Jason replied: "I think I was more at risk than you."

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
