Big Brother 2016: OUTRAGE after favourite to win Lateysha Grace is evicted

Big Brother 2016

Big Brother 2016 has seen a MAJOR shake up after favourite to win Lateysha Grace was evicted in tonight's show.

Jason Burrill stole £20,000 of the prize money and evicted Lateysha in a brand new annihilation task that rocked the house yesterday.

In scenes that played out on tonight's show, Big Brother called the remaining eleven housemates to the task room after asking them to get 'smartly' dressed.

Big Brother explained: "In front of you is £20,000 cash. This £20,000 has been taken from the winner's prize fund and will not be returned. Right now, Big Brother is giving one of you the chance to take this £20,000."

"Soon, the buttons in front of you will become active," Big Brother went on. "Whoever presses first will become £20,000 richer. They will be free to continue living in the house and can go on to become the Big Brother winner.

"However this prize carries a severe consequence.

"Whoever presses the button must also evict one other housemate. Whoever they chose will leave the house immediately.

Jason, Laura, Hughie and Jackson all pressed the button but it was Jason who got there first.

He went on to evict Lateysha, saying he had made the decision to press the button to save himself.

The choice shocked the house with Ryan, Sam, Jackson and Jayne particularly raging.

"People are going to think he's a d**khead," complained Lateysha as she packed her bags.

"I believe in karma," she added, as the other housemates encouraged her by saying 'everything happens for a reason'.

Meanwhile, Jason secured support from Andy.

He explained he didn't want to take the 'easy option' by voting out Jayne but sighed: "I'm going to get called the biggest game player going."

Lateysha then confronted Jason, explaining how she had come on the show because she was a 'skint single mum', as he revealed he disagreed with her leaving her 9-month-old daughter to enter the house.

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
