The Big Brother 2016 final has been confirmed today for Tuesday, July 26.

The current series of BBUK will end in less than two weeks' time, making for the shortest series EVER.

After 50 days, Big Brother 2016's final will air at 9PM on Tuesday, July 26 for a total of an hour an 45 minutes.

The series will then conclude with a final of Big Brother's Bit on the Side, hosted by Rylan Clark-Neal.

While we have less than two weeks to go, we still have 11 housemates in the house right now.

We're expecting another TWO to go this week as part of the ongoing 'Annihilation Week' but that would still leave quite a few in with just one more live show between this week and the final.

Meanwhile the end of Big Brother means the start of Celebrity Big Brother and the summer series will be launching just a day after the BBUK final.

The new series of CBB will be back on TV from 9PM on Thursday, July 28 with a live show hosted by Emma Willis.

The two hour launch will be followed by Celebrity Big Brother's Bit on the Side at 11PM, fronted by Rylan.

While there are less than 48 hours between the BB final and CBB, Channel 5 say that the BB House will be given a glamorous make-over for the brand new celebrity Housemates.
