Big Brother becomes 'Love Island in Borehamwood' as couples enjoy the night together...

If it weren't for the setting you'd be hard pressed to find a difference between Big Brother and Love Island last night.

With ITV2's Love Island having overtaken Big Brother in the ratings, it seems as though Channel 5 may be after some of its viewers back.

Yesterday saw a number of the BB housemates couple up with their partners from the outside before spending the night away from the house in The Other House.

In the morning, Big Brother had revealed the latest shopping challenge where housemates must win enough 'loyalty points' to pass.

However they'll be faced with all sorts of rewards and temptations in the process, testing their loyalty to the group.

Housemates were called at random points to pods in The Other Garden where they were tempted to turn. If they hit their buzzer to spin they would spend points, but if they didn't turn around they'd win points.

In one round, Emma and Andy both turned for their boyfriends, while Laura spun for a former flame and was left in shock.

Laura's ex Bernardo told her: "I crossed an ocean to see you. press that button"

"Oh my God," reacted Laura as she spun around.

Hyperventilating, she spluttered: "What the hell?! How you are here?!" as the former couple embraced.

Meanwhile Andy's boyfriend Ed got down on one knee and PROPOSED, to which Andy said yes.

After enjoying a romantic dinner together, the reunited couples were allowed to spend the night together away from the other housemates in the second house.

The highlights will air in tonight's show on Channel 5 from 9PM.
