Big Brother's Ryan Ruckledge and Hughie Maughan are over after visit from family members

Big Brother 2016

Ryan Ruckledge and Hughie Maughan have called time on their relationship after a visit from Hughie's mum.

Earlier this afternoon, Big Brother revealed the house's latest shopping challenge where housemates must win enough 'loyalty points' to pass.

However they'll be faced with all sorts of rewards and temptations in the process, testing their loyalty to the group.

Over the next three days at random points, groups of housemates will be called to The Other Garden and stand up in pods. Big Brother will then reveal what's on offer if they turn.

If they hit their buzzer to spin they'll spend points, but if they don't turn around they'll win points.

In one round, Lateysha, Hughie, Ryan and Charlie were tempted with a birthday party hosted by Hughie's mum.

After encouragement from the group, Hughie turned and had a catch up, where she revealed that EVERYTHING had been shown, including THOSE antics in the bedroom.

Following his return to the house, Hughie and Ryan had a heart to heart and decided to cool off their budding relationship.

"We shouldn't do anything any more," Hughie said with the pair agreeing to not even kiss.

Ryan admitted he was suffering anxiety over the outside world, explaining: "I'm not sure how I'm being perceived, I don't want it affecting my friends and family."

Hughie added: "I do think we need to calm down on all those types of things. We really do need to stop and be adults.

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
