Ex boyfriends and former girlfriends will enter the Big Brother 2016 house in a new twist.
Host Emma Willis revealed in the latest eviction show yesterday evening that there would be some special guests joining the household from Sunday night and throughout next week.
Emma teased that the newbies would have 'close connections' to the current housemates and may even get involved in a 'little sleep over' in the house.
On Bit On The Side afterwards, Rylan-Clark Neal confirmed that ex-girlfriends and boyfriends would be in the mix but didn't reveal any more information.
Already at least six of this year's housemates are connected, including at least one pair of exs in the form of Jason and Charlie who split up just before the show.
And if their relationship in the house is anything to go, the new housemates could bring plenty of fireworks with them.
However they won't be staying permanently and may well be taking some of the current lot with them when they leave.
Currently 14 housemates remain but there are just three and half weeks of the series to go.
Yesterday Channel 5 confirmed that the latest run will be cut short, airing the final later this month after just 50 or so days.
Which means that there are set to be some mega evictions on the way to get the current crop of housemates down to just a handful for the last week.
Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
