Jason Burrill and Charlie Doherty came face to face for the first time on Big Brother 2016 tonight.
The former couple had been living in two separate houses before all was revealed on Friday night.
And today, they went head to head in a task as rivals.
Yesterday, Big Brother gathered both houses for an announcement, telling they would be doing battle and the winning team would have sole control of nominations and receive immunity from this week’s eviction.
This afternoon the two groups faced off in a second task and things were getting physical.
In each round, one member of The Others and the Housemates entered an area which was full of pipes. Randomly, one of the pipes would erupt with gunge and an orb.
It was than a race for the rival team members to try and get the orb back to their team, slipping, sliding around on the floor in the gunk.
Jason and Charlie were chosen by Big Brother and battled for their teams, with Charlie kissing Jason before their fight.
A gunge wrestle later and Jason was victorious, winning a point for his housemates.
After the task and Charlie had roused suspicion amongst Jason's fellow housemates.
Evelyn Ellis said: "I feel strongly about this so I feel like I'm going to say something, if it's a fake romance, I'm going to call it.
"He's like my dad. ... I could be wrong but I just think it's a bit odd. To think that anyone would hurt him just breaks my heart."
She added to Laura Carter: "I'm sure he can totally handle the situation himself but I'm not buying it.. Something's up."
Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
