Big Brother 2016: Andrew Tate leaves the house in tonight's show

Big Brother 2016

Andrew Tate's exit from Big Brother 2016 plays out on tonight's latest highlights show.

Channel 5 confirmed yesterday (June 13) evening that The Other, who had been living in the main house as a Housemate, had been removed less than a week into the show.

A spokesperson for Channel 5 said: "Due to information Channel 5 and Big Brother became aware of today, Andrew Tate has been removed from the Big Brother House."

Precisely what has prompted Andrew's departure has still yet to be confirmed but Channel 5 DENIED it was anything to do with offensive tweets allegedly posted to his Twitter account before the series begun.

They also DENIED Andrew's claims on Facebook about his removal. "What Andrew says in that statement is completely false," Channel 5 said.

In this evening's show, Andrew is called to the Diary Room where it's revealed he has to leave the house.

Big Brother then gathers up both the Housemates and the Others in their respective houses before revealing the news to both, leading to plenty of shock.

Andrew's ejection leaves Ryan as the only undercover Other in the house which means he has sole responsibility for not only completing his and Andrew's secret mission to target Laura but also a new challenge to sabotage the week's shopping task.

Big Brother tells Ryan he needs to make sure that the Housemates fail the task in order for The Others to benefit.

Big Brother airs tonight at 9PM on Channel 5.

And at 10PM there will be a LIVE show as The Others are revealed to the Housemates and they replace Andrew.

One Housemate will lose their place in the house and become an Other.
