Big Brother 2016 gets more than 250 Ofcom complaints over 'sex scenes'

Big Brother 2016

Ofcom has received more than 250 complaints about Big Brother 2016, it's been revealed.

Many follow last night's shocking episode which began with a warning about 'risky sexual activity'.

In scenes that followed, Laura Carter was seen strangling and whipping Marco Pierre White Jr with a belt before he sucked her breasts in the garden.

Later the two hit the bedroom and got up to God knows what else under the sheets...

Other complaints have focused on a number of rows between the housemates, including Hughie Maughan pretty much LOSING it in The Other House after a major bust up with Natalie Rowe.

In a dramatic first week for the new series, the show has also seen FOUR housemates break out of the compound with one leaving permanently.

According to TV watchdog Ofcom there have been 252 complaints due to the antics.

"We will assess these complaints before deciding whether to investigate or not," a spokesperson said.

Before the series started the latest cast were tipped to be the most controversial yet and they've not disappointed in that aspect.

But it remains to be seen just how long Big Brother will put up with it all.

Bookies have cut Marco's odds of being EJECTED to just 2/1 following not only his sexual antics but also the breaking of a microphone and his escape from the house.

Alex Donohue from bookmakers Ladbrokes said: "Marco is making sure it's getting hot in the kitchen but the odds suggest BB bosses can't stand the heat."

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
