If you had hoped that the revamped Big Brother would include more live feed, there's bad news.
Rather than more live footage from the house - we gave up ever hoping for 24/7 coverage long ago - it's set to be cut.
Just 30 minutes will air each week following the live evictions at 11:30PM, it's been revealed.
There may be a few more bits here and there for other live shows - such as the hour after launch night - but plans for any more regular instalments appear non existent.
The live feed has long been a sticky issue for fans ever since it was first dropped in the Channel 4 era.
It's since appeared in various forms over the years from a paid online feed to nightly late night shows most recently for Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.
Even when the live feed was available it never really compared to those offered by other versions of the show across the world; Big Brother Canada's latest gave viewers the ability to watch up to four separate feeds from around the house.
Still, Big Brother's nightly highlights shows and Bit On The Side are going nowhere and so we can still get our summer reality fix from Tuesday, June 7 on Channel 5.
