This year's Big Brother 2016 is set to have two houses each with thier own set of housemates, it's been reported.
While we definitely know that there will be a second house at the Elstree set this year, Channel 5 has yet to reveal its plans for the newly built extension.
Claims today have suggested it will work as a whole separate house with its own group of housemates, essentially making for two series of Big Brother at the same time.
"The two houses will basically run like two different series, meaning fans will get twice the fun," a source said.
However the two houses will be closely linked - and not just physically.
"The idea would be to have a daughter in one house and her mum in the other but not tell either of them," the insider told the Daily Star newspaper. "It would be a big stunt but producers are determined to make it the best series ever."
So far Channel 5 have only revealed some cryptic teasers about the show but did say that this year's housemates 'wouldn't be alone'.
"From Day One the Housemates will be under attack from an unseen ominous dark force that will have a dramatic and divisive effect on the House,” producers explained.
They went on: "Whilst things may appear to be straight forward Big Brother will ensure that no-one will have the entire picture.
"There may even be deeper connections at work? The Housemates are not alone and they should be prepared for paranoia and suspicion."
Channel 5 was granted permission to extend the Big Brother house back in February with work starting as soon as Celebrity Big Brother ended.
Photos from the set taken last week show work on the new building, which has its own garden and pool.
The latest series of Big Brother will also feature a brand new studio and eviction set, as Emma Willis hosts from launch night on June 7.
