Get ready people: Big Brother 2016 is coming VERY soon.

In fact, you've got less than three weeks to wait, and maybe even less than that.

While the exact launch date hasn't been confirmed just yet, Channel 5 have revealed today that the new series is scheduled begin between Saturday 4th and Friday 10th June.

The exact launch date and time is expected to be announced late next week but we're already excited.

Promotion for the upcoming run has begun to ramp up this week with Channel 5 teasing today that the "game is changing."

What will be the seventeenth series of Big Brother UK is expected to be very different from everything we've seen before.

This morning, Channel 5 revealed the first teasers from the new series with some titbits about what we could expect.

They explained cryptically: "From Day One the Housemates will be under attack from an unseen ominous dark force that will have a dramatic and divisive effect on the House."

The housemates who enter on launch next next month will have no clue what's in store.

"Whilst things may appear to be straight forward Big Brother will ensure that no-one will have the entire picture," Channel 5 say. "The Housemates are not alone and they should be prepared for paranoia and suspicion."

With Emma fronting the main show, Rylan will return to Bit On The Side week nights.
