"Nothing will be the same again" looks to be the tagline for this summer's Big Brother UK on Channel 5.

The teaser was given away today as the first promo for the brand new series was filmed.

Confirming that he'll be returning to the revamped series - not that we ever had any doubt, of course - BB narrator Marcus Bentley spilled the news last night (Wednesday).

He tweeted: "Off to record the promo for the one and only .....Big Brother tomorrow- can't wait!"

Earlier today after filming, Marcus added: "'Nothing will be the same again!' The Big Brother promo went well."

While we know very little about the brand new series it's looking like a HUGE overhaul is on the cards.

An extension to the current set, together with a new eviction studio and outdoor staging area, is currently being built in the biggest change to the house in more than a decade.

And the physical changes are just the start with rumours of a brand new format, possibly involving celebrities living alongside 'regular' housemates.

Bit On The Side's Rylan Clark told us viewers to "be prepared for the unexpected".

He teased: "Everything's coming very soon. The new look, new treatment, new feel. It's a brand new show this year."

Rylan added: "It feels like we're starting a new school. It's like going to big school."

This year's first promo was filmed a year to day that 2015's series launched, the earliest start of Big Brother ever.

There could be quite a wait yet until the upcoming series begins, potentially making it the latest opener ever, excluding the first ever series on both Channel 4 and Channel 5.

Show bosses are said to be targeting a launch around two weeks into June as things stand.
