The Big Brother 2016 house will be getting a major makeover this summer, alongside a large extension.
Work on the house is racing along ahead of the Big Brother 2016 start date, which looks now almost certain to be June time.
But it's sure to be worth the wait as this summer Big Brother is set to see one EPIC house.
The structures for a brand new extension and eviction studio are now complete, with work on the interior under way.
Construction has now moved on to connecting the two-story addition to the existing main house, with a corridor linking the two close to the main entrance.
With cash being spent on the extension, the current house isn't being neglected and has been gutted ready for a new look.
In the garden, the full length swimming pool has been ripped out and will be replaced by a circular hot tub, similar to that seen on Celebrity Big Brother 2015 back in January of last year, pictured above.
Our Elstree mole tells us that the treehouse 'snug' has also been ripped down from the garden leaving a blank canvas.
The general layout and floor plan will remain the same, with our insider claiming the house will have a "stripy metallic" finish.
Big Brother will air on Channel 5 in the summer, hosted by Emma Willis.
