A 'model' who pretended to be a student only to spend her loan on plastic surgery has been tipped for Big Brother this summer.
29-year-old Catherine Byrne made headlines in 2015 after it was revealed she had signed up to attend University just to spend loan money on two boob jobs, botox and lip fillers.
Catherine explained that she wanted to help her modelling career and become more like her idol, former Celebrity Big Brother winner Katie Price.
She told The Sun newspaper at the time: "My boob job has done more for my career than any degree could."
Now the tabloid say that Catherine is being lined up as one of the 'celebrities' for this year's Big Brother series.
It follows reports suggesting a hybrid Big Brother run this summer with 'normal' housemates and 'celebrity' housemates living together in a split house.
A source explained: "The producers of Big Brother are intending on blurring the lines of the 'civilian' and 'celebrity' shows by putting in a mixture of unknown names and tabloid personalities.
"One of the people they're really keen on is Catherine, and some lesser known reality stars from shows like Ex On The Beach.
"They're on the hunt for people that are desperate for fame and will no doubt prove to be TV gold."
Other 'celebrities' in the mix are said to include Connor Hunter, who appeared on MTV's Ex On The Beach and X Factor reject Ryan Ruckledge, who was kicked out by the judge at last year's bootcamp.
Also tipped to take part are the so-called 'Selfie Sisters' made up of Lucie, Sophie and Stacie. The girls are another tabloid favourite after revealing last year how they made money from men online through so-called "rinsing".
A source said: "It's no secret that they want to be the UK's answer to the Kardashians, which is why they all changed their names to end in 'ie' to make them more of a brand."
A spokesperson for Channel 5 commented: "We don’t comment on rumour or speculation regarding housemates.”
