The outside work on Big Brother's new house extension is nearing completion, latest construction pictures suggest.
Creation of the new two story building was given planning permission back in March and the main structure appears to be close to finished in these latest pictures of the set.
Of course there's still a LOT of work to be done and builders are keeping up the pace to get everything ready for the new series this summer.
As well as the extension to the house, the revamped set will include a new staging area and eviction studio.
The additions will make for the biggest changes to the Big Brother house since it first moved to its current home in Borehamwood more than a decade ago.
It's great to see Channel 5 and Endemol investing heavily in the series which has been one of the UK's longest airing shows, now spanning more than 15 years.
And it's already got us SUPER excited for the this summer's programme, even though it may be a while yet before we're glued to our TVs.
Reports this week suggest that the launch date for summer's Big Brother may not be until late June, which contrasts with 2015's earliest ever start in May of last year.
However the upside is that there will be no wait between the end of Big Brother and the start of Celebrity Big Brother with both scheduled to air pretty much back to back.
As always we'll have all of the latest news and gossip in the run up to and throughout the show.
