Construction on Big Brother's new 'house' is well under way, we can reveal.
Planning permission from the local council was granted less than two weeks away but already both new buildings have had their core steel frameworks erected.
Our mole said: "The team haven't hung around and are clearly keen to get the new place ready for housemates."
One of the structures will become a brand new eviction studio while the other two-story dwelling will form part of the house.
Plans for the extension, including whether or not both floors will be used for the show, have yet to be revealed as rumours suggest everything from a whole second house to a 'task arena'.
Work has also begun on preparing the previous concrete hardstanding outside to the side of the house for a second garden, while to the front the old stage, catwalk and eye entrance have all been removed.
A new outdoor staging area is currently being designed that will connect the old house, extension and eviction studio together, as well as seating for a live outdoor audience of 400 people.
As for the main house, it's been completely gutted but currently its layout remains the same.
The new series of Big Brother this summer is said to see a lot of changes besides the house with Bit On The Side's Rylan Clark recently claiming it would become a 'whole new show'.
Big Brother 2016 is expected to begin in either late May or early June.
