Scenes involving Danny Wisker have been cut from tonight's Big Brother over claims of fake tweets.
As part of a task yesterday, housemates were split into two teams had to guess which facts or quotes were about which of the housemates in the opposing team
In one round, Cristian, Jack and Chloe had to guess which of Danny, Nick or Joel had posted a tweet about "fat birds in clubs"
“Which housemate tweeted ‘Fat birds trying it on with me in clubs, stick with your own kind’?” Big Brother had asked.
The housemates had said it was Nick and the revelation it was - at least at the time understood to be, according to Big Brother - written by Danny shocked the housemates.
Danny insisted he didn't remember writing the message and later told Big Brother in the Diary Room: “I bloody hated it. I feel really ashamed and so did everyone else in that room. I was shocked and disappointed. I can understand why people would turn against me. I’m so sorry.”
However the scenes have been axed from tonight's edit and the video of the task has also been removed from the official Big Brother website.
It's after representatives from Danny stated that they had "solid evidence" that the tweet was fake.
According to the Daily Mirror newspaper, Danny's agent says that the tweet had been photoshopped while other tweets attributed to the BB housemate were posted from an imposter account.
Writing on Danny's official twitter account this evening, Danny's management team wrote: "remember that not everything you see online is real #thetruthisoutthere"
Big Brother airs tonight at 10PM on Channel 5.
