Following a huge row in the house with Helen Wood, Brian retreated to the Diary Room, Brian said: “I feel like I’m being ganged up on. I don’t want to cry. I’ve tried to keep away from there.
"I shouldn’t have come back here. This is really hard. I feel like I’m living in hell. I’m defeated. I’m getting a barrage of abuse.”
Afterwards, Brian was left alone in the sky room in the garden looking over the top to the outside world before he jumped over and made his escape from the house.
Speaking on Bit On The Side about his exit, Brian said: "I'm okay now, I'm good. I knew that situation was unhealthy and I needed to take myself away from it."
On his final row with Helen, Brian said: "They [Helen and Marc] were antagonising me, they work in cahoots with each other...
"I was one of the only few people standing up to Helen, in the house people are scared of Helen so because I was standing up to them they just wanted to go at me. She's the typical playground... she tries to manipulate things, throwing mud."
On his decision to leave, Brian said: "I sat there and I thought I don't need to be around people being nasty to me, I've more self respect. I'm not going to say anything bad about them, I'm going to hold my head high and have dignity about the situation. "
Brian suggested that Helen had 'no regrets' over the argument, saying: "That girl... she just argues for fun. She thinks because she's hard nosed, she thinks everyone has a heart of stone like her and she doesn't care about other people's feelings."
