This summer's Celebrity Big Brother 2015 is set to have a 'UK v USA' theme, it's been claimed.
The numbers of American housemates have seemingly been going up and up each series, especially since the move to Channel 5.
And they've often proved to be hits, from last summer's winner Gary Busey to the chaos caused by Perez Hilton earlier in January.
Now this year's second series is set to go the whole hog with a special American v British theme.
According to The Sun newspaper, show bosses are keen to sign up two groups of stars from both sides of the Atlantic and pit them against one other.
A so-called 'Celebrity Big Brother insider' told the tabloid today: “The reason bosses have come up with this idea is because of the impact Perez had on the January series. He was so out there and caused such mayhem that producers want to take it to the next level for the new show.
“They hope that by pitching Brits against Americans they will capitalise on our cultural differences and fireworks will ensue."
Producers are apparently keen to get a string of feisty and fiery characters to also help ratings along, with model Janice Dickinson reported the first to have signed up.
The source added: “They want it to be one of the most explosive series ever.”
Celebrity Big Brother isn't expected to return to Channel 5 in August, with a new series of Big Brother kicking off first next month.
