Former radio DJ Dave Lee Travis has reportedly been approached to appear on Celebrity Big Brother 2015.
The Radio 1 host has apparently been offered £300,000 to become a CBB housemate in the next series in January.
It follows a string of court cases which saw Travis - real name David Griffin - convicted of indecent assault.
He was handed down a suspended jail sentence, although this will now be reviewed by the Attorney-General which could see the case sent to the Appeal Court, resulting in a harsher punishment.
A show source told The Sun on Sunday (paid link) newspaper today: “We made him an offer as he has a great story to tell.
"However, it now appears he could end up serving time. In that case we would have to think seriously about whether he’s the right kind of person for the show.”
In the trials, Travis was cleared of 13 other indecent assaults and one alleged sex assault.
The new series of CBB begins in the New Year on Channel 5 after American actor Gary Busey won the latest series last month.
