Big Brother 2014: Helen Wood's odds of winning cut ahead of final

Big Brother Summer 2014

Helen Wood's odds of winning Big Brother have been cut dramatically ahead of Friday's final.

She's now the third favourite behind only Christopher Hall and Ashleigh Coyle in what's shaping up to be one of the closest final results in BB history.

While 'Team Helen' has lost most of its members, it seems that this could actually work in her favour as the vote for 'Team Ashleigh' gets split between multiple members.

Helen's fast pass to the final has meant we've have had to endure the salon owner, love or hate her, until the very end.

And after breaking down in tears on last night's show, it seems the public have had a change of heart and are backing her to win as she sees her price slashed from 25/1 into 12/1 to win.

Ashleigh remains the favourite to win ahead of the final but has now drifted from 1/3 to 2/5 following Helen’s burst of support. Christopher remains the second favourite at 9/4 but Chris, who is joining Helen in the secret room, has begun to drift and is now 16/1 from 12/1 to win.

Ash and Pav may have the pleasure of staying until the end but it doesn’t look like either will be victorious at 40/1 respectively.

Aoife Heffron of Boylesports said: “Helen has been the main focus throughout this year’s Big Brother thanks to her outspoken and confrontational ways, with many calling for her to be kicked out. However the fast pass to the final has been her saving grace and she could shock everyone and win after seeing a massive price change.”
