Big Brother's Chris R Wright has made his feelings to Ashleigh Coyle very clear.
After viewers claimed in this week's task that he had a crush on the teenager, Chris insisted that he saw her as no more than a friend.
In a bit of a rant in the early hours of this morning, Chris told Ashleigh: "I told them [Big Brother in the Diary Room] Everyone has to just stop referring to you as an 18-year-old and treating you like an 18-year-old.
"Don't treat you any different, treat you as an equal."
As Ashleigh lay in bed, Chris continued: "I don't care how old my friends are, if you're 50 or you're 25 or you're 33 or you're 18, I like you because I like who you are and how your brain works.
"When people bring up age, I think it's a surplus to requirements discussion... doesn't matter."
"Yeah, Yeah..." Ashleigh replied.
Chris went on, suggesting bizarrely that they should 'get rid of numbers': "It's not really relevant.
"I just like people because I like them."
Ashleigh still seemed uninterested as Chris steamed on: "You really are the big thing for me here, I really will take you away as a friend and I really intend to properly have you as a friend."
"Hmm," Ashleigh murmured.
"Like, I want to be your mate forever, that'd be the best thing," Chris gushed.
"Yeah, yeah..." Ashleigh responded.
We can't but feel that this friendship is rather one sided...
