Big Brother 2014's Kimberly Kisselovich spoke to Steven Goode in Diary Room in the house yesterday.
It followed Kimberly's sudden illness which saw her leave the house on Friday evening.
Big Brother confirmed yesterday morning that she had left the house for good, although was "feeling better".
Given the "exceptional circumstances", Steven was allowed to talk to Kimberly from hospital for five minutes.
A shaven Steven bounded out of the Diary Room to tell the housemates about his chat yesterday evening.
"Oh My God!" he reacted. "I just spoke to Kim on the phone. Oh My God, it was so nice. I nearly cried. She's fine, it was so nice."
"I told her what I did with my hair... she's better," Steven continued. "It was so nice, It's made me feel much calmer. She sounds so much better, she's gutted to be out.
"She said I love you, I'll be there waiting for you, I miss everybody, I'm gutted to have left, I'm going to be in here for two or three days.
"She said tell Helen I'm her number one fan and I'm rooting for you to go all the way."
Steven concluded: "She was so ill she could not physically have returned."
A spokesperson for Channel 5 commented: "Due to ill health Kimberly has had to leave the Big Brother house and the programme. This is a private matter and we will not commenting further."
Steven and Kim's chat will air in tonight's show on Channel 5.
