Big Brother 2014: Channel 5 statement on Kimberly Kisselovich exit

Kimberly Kisselovich (Big Brother 2014)

Channel 5 have this afternoon issued a very short statement on Kimberly Kisselovich's exit from the Big Brother 2014 house.

Last night, the US model avoided Friday's live eviction after being rushed out of the house due to 'medical reasons'.

This morning, Big Brother confirmed that Kimberly is still 'unwell' and will not be returning to the house.

Making an announcement to the housemates, BB said: "Yesterday, Big Brother told you that Kimberly left the house for medical reasons. Big Brother can now give you an update.

"Kimberly is being treated for her condition and is getting better, but, unfortunately, is not well enough to return to the house."

Now Channel 5 have issued a statement, saying only: "Due to ill health Kimberly has had to leave the Big Brother house and the programme. This is a private matter and we will not commenting further."

Speaking to himself after the announcement earlier today, Steven said: “The funny thing is, my experience was with her and now she’s not here.

“F**ks sake, I didn’t even get the chance to find out if she’s okay.”

He went on as he packed her things: “She got exceptionally upset, she’s been upset generally, people don’t understand, this has been a very personal journey for her. Poor Kim.”

Steven added: “I haven’t even had the chance to ask if she’s okay or make sure she’s alright.”

In tonight's show, we see Kimberly being forced to leave house under doctor’s orders to get medical attention as she is feeling unwell.

Later, Steven talks to Big Brother to express his concern over Kimberly and asks for a message to be passed on to her, which is that he loves her very much.

Big Brother continues tonight on Channel 5.
