Tonight's Big Brother 2014 results: Who was evicted? Jale Karaturp leaves

Jale Karaturp (Big Brother 2014)

Jale Karaturp has become the latest housemate to be evicted in tonight's Big Brother 2014 results.

BB announced this week’s latest nomination results back on Sunday evening, revealing that that joining Jale Karaturp (as the killer nomination) were Christopher Hall, Chris R Wright, Ashleigh Coyle and Marlon Wallen.

But in a nominations twist on Tuesday, Marlon saved himself from eviction in the shopping task, leaving Ashleigh, Chris, Christopher and Jale up for the public vote.

Tonight first saw host Emma Willis speak to the house after lines were frozen to announce the first two housemates safe.

They were, in no particular order, Chris and Christopher.

It was little surprise as it left Ashleigh and Jale fighting to stay in the house after both getting a rather negative reaction from the live eviction crowd.

Bookies claimed it was "too close to call" as Emma returned to the house to reveal the final result.

And with the most votes to be evicted, Jale Karaturp became the fifth person to be booted out of the Big Brother 2014 house.

It had been a close run between the two girls all week with Ashleigh starting as the huge odds on favourite on Tuesday.

But a Twitter campaign saw support to keep Ashleigh in, at Jale's expense, saw her odds cut and by tonight the pair were joint favourites to go.

TellyMix readers had backed Jale to go over Ashleigh with some 50% of our latest eviction poll.

Jale had been nominated by former housemate Pauline Bennett back in the first week as the 'Killer Nomination' which meant she faced eviction every week.
