Big Brother 2014 nominations: EIGHT face eviction after Power veto twist

A total of EIGHT housemates currently face eviction on Big Brother 2014 following tonight's twist.

Yesterday evening Big Brother revealed to the group that Toya had been voted into Power by the rest of the housemates after they had all nomination..

In the live eviction show, Big Brother then announced that Toya would not be alone in her power trip as she was asked to to pick another Housemate as the other half of the ‘Power Couple’ partnership and she chose Matthew.

In the second half of the twist, the pair had to nominate one housemate to automatically face eviction to their faces. They chose Christopher.

Earlier today (Saturday) the Power Couple (Toya and Matthew) entered the Control Room to be told of their new challenge: They would be able to choose three Housemates whose nominations (occurring this weekend) will become null and void.

The rest of the house were unaware that the Power Couple have made this decision so all nominated as normal. Christopher, Jale, Helen and the Power couple could not be nominated.

When all housemates had nominated, Danielle McMahon, Ash Harrison, Chris R Wright, Marlon McKenzie, Steven Goode, Kimberly Kisselovich and Winston Showan were all up for eviction.

The power couple chose to Veto the nominations of Ash, Steven and Marlon. Their nominations were discarded. As a result, Kimberly escaped eviction.

Therefore, as it stands, Jale, Christopher, Danielle, Ash, Chris, Marlon, Steven and Winston all face the public vote.

HOWEVER, host Emma Willis teased a further twist still to come which will see one of the Power couple also facing the chop, and perhaps see other housemates currently up for eviction saved.

Watch the fallout from the noms bomb below...

Big Brother continues nightly on Channel 5.
